Sand Cast 9ct Gold Ring

This bespoke 9ct gold ring is handmade to order using recycled gold & sand casting, the technique of pouring molten gold into a sand mould to create a beautiful ring with a rustic organic texture, each ring will differ slightly from the next as the texture is determined the process. 

This is a traditional D profile ring which has been smoothed & rounded off on the inside edge to ensure a comfortable fit for everyday wear. It is is approx. 2.5mm wide with a matt finish on the outside of the ring and a contrasting polished finish on the inside.

Making a ring using this method means there is no join, creating a symbolic ring with no beginning or end making it the perfect choice for a wedding band.

As this ring is entirely made to order it is possible to have it made in different metals, the pictured ring is 9ct yellow gold, but it is possible to make in rose or white gold, and either in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct gold or silver, please get in touch to enquire about the cost of higher carat golds. It is also possible to make in wider thicknesses.

PLEASE NOTE:
This ring will be hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office which will increase the time it takes to make, please allow 3-4 weeks. If, however you need a quick turn around get in touch as this may be possible. 

I handmake all my jewellery using recycled silver and gold from UK suppliers, all from my jewellery workshop in Paisley, Scotland. Due to the handmade nature of these rings each one will vary slightly from the next, photos can be sent once your ring has been made to ensure you are happy with the texture.
