This chunky textured silver ring is made using the technique of sand casting.

An imprint of a hand carved wax ring is used to create an imprint using a two part mould filled with specialist sand, with extra sand from a beach on the West coast of Scotland to create the rough texture & molten silver is poured into the cavity left behind. 

The silver is then removed, refined & smoothed to create a ring which is tackle with heavily textured surface but smooth & comfortable to wear on the inside.

This ring is made to order in your size, it requires hallmarking so will take approx 3-4 weeks for delivery, this can sometimes be done quicker if time constraints are an issue.

All the rings are hand made by me from my studio Paisley.

All items are posted out via Royal Mail , items under £40 are sent 1st class, £40-£80 are sent recorded and items over £80 are sent via special delivery.

Collection are welcome from my workshop in Paisley by prior arrangement.

Care Instructions

Silver will naturally tarnish over time, certain factors can speed this up like wearing your jewellery in the shower, swimming and perfums as well as the natural oils in our skin.

Brown paper packages tied up with string...

Just one of my favourite things. Though when it comes to jewellery, we put in a bit more effort, striking a balance between aesthetic & sustainability.

Our gift boxes & inserts are made in Europe from FSC-certified cardboard the inserts have a viscose topcoat to look like velvet, meaning no plastic foam inserts!

Most of our jewellery is sent in letter box friendly cardboard mailers which can be recycled.
